The Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE has added a new smartphone in its Blade lineup, called the Blade Max 3. The company has launched the smartphone in the US at a price of $199.99 (around Rs. 12,800).
The highlight of the ZTE Blade Max 3 is its dual rear camera setup that features a primary 13-megapixel RGB PDAF sensor and a secondary 13-megapixel sensor for monochrome. At front, it has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
Talking about its specifications, the device sports a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display with 2.5D arc glass on top. It is powered by a 64-bit 2GHz Snapdragon 625 processor with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The ZTE Blade Max 3 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The fingerprint sensor on the handset is located on the rear panel below the dual-rear camera. The volume rockers and the power button are placed on the right side. The bottom of the handset has the USB Type-C port for charging, while at the top it has 3.5mm headphone jack.
The ZTE Blade Max 3 packs a massive 4000mAh battery and it is claimed to offer 40 hours of talktime and 31 days standby time. Connectivity options include- WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and 4G LTE support. Sensors on the phone include- Accelerometer, Light, Proximity, Hall, Gyro, and Compass.
The new ZTE Blade Max 3, however, is available for purchase only in the US as of now through US Cellular. ZTE has not shared any word on whether the handset will be made available globally.
