Ziox Mobiles an Indian smartphone manufacturer on Wednesday at an event in Mumbai launched the Ziox Duopix its first smartphone to feature a dual camera setup on the front for selfies. This smartphone also made the company the first Indian smartphone brand to introduce a dual selfie camera setup. The company has unveiled the device, however, it still has to declare when will the phone be available and how much will it cost. The company said they will announce that soon.
As for the specifications, the Ziox Duopix sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels with 296ppi pixel density. It comes with 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of Internal Storage expandable via a microSD card. The device will run on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. All of this will be backed by a 2,500mAh battery.
On the front, we get to see two camera sensors, one with a resolution of 8-megapixel and the other with a 2-megapixel resolution. At the rear, the device offers an 8-megapixel shooter along with a LED flash. As for the other features, the device supports 21 languages, multi-lingual phonebook, FM Radio, 4G VoLTE, and more.
The company during the event also revealed that it has procured funds to set up two new manufacturing and R&D facilities in India. Currently, they only have one manufacturing unit in New-Delhi which is capable to push out a million devices per month.
