The home-grown smartphone manufacturer, Zen on Thursday launched its latest budget smartphone, the Zen Admire Unity. The company brought this handset focusing on first-time smartphone users. The Admire Unity is priced at Rs. 5,099 and it will be available for purchase starting November 10.

The new Zen smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash support. Up front, it has a 2-megapixel camera for video calls. The camera app on the phone comes equipped with GIF app that lets the user click the complete landscape. The camera app also has Panorama mode.

The affordable Admire Unity packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. It is equipped with a 2300mAh non-removable battery.


The Zen Admire Unity comes pre-loaded with apps like- Vistoso, Go2Pay, Chillx, Amazon Prime Videos and Zen Store. For those who purchase the new Zen handset, the company will provide them one-year handset replacement offer. If the smartphone is not repaired within 15 days the consumer will get a replacement phone. The offer will be available in 750+ Zen care centres across the country.
