Micromax sub-brand Yu Televentures’ recently launched Yu Yunique 2 smartphone is now available to purchase exclusively on Flipkart. Yu Yunique 2 is the successor to the previous Yu Yunique smartphone, which was announced in September 2015. Nearly two years after unveiling the entry-level Android handset, the company decided to refresh the lineup. The phone measures 145×72.7×9.15mm, and weighs 159 grammes.

Yu Yunique 2 comes with a 5-inch IPS display featuring 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by an entry-level MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz in addition to 2GB of RAM. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and offers 16GB of expandable storage. In terms of camera, Yu Yunique 2 houses a 13-megapixel rear shooter with panorama, HDR mode, and a dedicated night mode. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Yu Yunique 2 packs a 2500mAh battery under the hood supporting 4G VoLTE to operate on Reliance Jio network. The device flaunts a metal unibody with a patterned back. It integrates Truecaller as its default dialer app offering seamless caller ID, spam detection feature. It has the standard set of connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, and Micro USB port. The set of sensors on board includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

Yu Yunique 2 comes at the cost of Rs 5,999 and goes on sale in two colour options like Champagne and Coal Black.
