Xiaomi has officially launched the new Redmi Note 4X in China on Wednesday. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer however, did not shared any details on the price and features of the new smartphone.

A new Hatsune Miku Limited Edition Redmi 4X has been introduced which will be available on Valentine’s Day, February 14. The phone is also available in four other colour variants- Champagne Gold, Matte Black, Cherry Powder and Platinum Silver Grey.

Although the price of the new smartphone has not been revealed yet, Xiaomi did pour in a few specification details of the Redmi Note 4X. In terms of display, the smartphone a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, a screen size similar to Redmi Note 4. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core chipset. The Indian variant of the Redmi Note 4X however is said to run on a Snapdragon 625 processor. The phone has a battery backup of 4100mAh battery.

Reports earlier claimed the upcoming smartphone to pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. The Redmi Note 4X will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the imaging front, the device will sport a 13-megapixel primary camera.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Redmi Note 4X will go on sale in China from February 14. As per reports, the company along with the Japanese firm Crypton Future Media will launch the Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Green Limited edition in China. The users are also said to get a free Hatsune Miku branded rear case and a power bank on the purchase of the limited edition.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 made its way in India last month. The smartphone marking a good success in the Indian smartphone market, the company claimed to sale 2,50,000 units of the Redmi Note 4 in the first flash sale. The all-metal smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080p resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 2GHz octa core Snapdragon 625 processor. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 8 skin on top of it. The Redmi Note 4 is beefed up with a 4,100mAh battery. The device base variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage comes for a cost of Rs. 9,999.
