Now buying the affordable Redmi handsets will be easier since Xiaomi has partnered Indian offline retail store Big Bazaar. As part of the partnership, Xiaomi Redmi handsets will be available to purchase at over 240 Big Bazaar stores across India. Xiaomi is selling its popular Redmi Note 4 as well as Redmi 4 offline via Big Bazaar at the time of writing this. The company is expected to start selling more Redmi branded handsets via Big Bazaar in the coming days.

Xiaomi India chief Manu Kumar Jain and Big Bazaar said that partnership Big Bazaar first initiated a few months ago when he met Kishore Biyani, Chief Executive Officer of the Future Group, a parent organisation controlling Big Bazaar. Xiaomi phones will be sold offline via Big Bazaar stores at special prices and no cost EMIs. Furthermore, there are some offers running for all those purchasing Xiaomi Redmi handset using ICICI Bank debit/credit cards.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Review) is the highest-selling Xiaomi handset in India, and the company has claimed to have sold over 5 million units so far. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 flaunts a metal unibody and has a 5.5-inch FHD screen, Snapdragon 625 SoC, and a 4,100mAh battery. It houses a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera It measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.

Xiaomi-Big Bazaar partnership comes in the wake of Xiaomi’s on-going efforts to strengthen its offline presence in India’s smartphone market. Xiaomi currently selling its products offline via the limited number of Mi Home Stores across India. So, in meantime, partnering Big Bazaar is going to help Xiaomi smoothen both offline sale and strategies in the country.
