Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix in 2016 as an experimental smartphone and was extremely successful. Its successor the Mi Mix 2 has seen a lot of leaks and rumours. In April a Chinese Shopping website Gearbest had put up a listing of the device on their site revealing some of the specifications of the smartphone.Now, the Xiaomi Mi Mix has been spotted on GFXBench a benchmarking website as per a report by primatelabs.
The GFXBench listing confirms some of the specifications that were leaked in the GearBest listing. The phone will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC and 6GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that the phone will come with Google’s latest Android operating system Nougat 7.1.1.
Some other rumoured specifications of the Mi Mix 2 which were leaked due to listing on the Chinese shopping website and still haven’t been confirmed are 128GB and 256GB internal storage options, a dual camera setup with 19-megapixel and a 13-megapixel camera combo, a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution, and a 4,500mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix comes packaged in a full ceramic body sporting a bezel-less display. The Mi Mix features a 6.4-inch IPS display. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. As for the camera, the Mi Mix sports a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. As for the connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The phone supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 and is backed by a 4,400mAh battery. Currently, the phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
