Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 bezel-less flagship smartphone has been launched in India for Rs 35,999. The successor to last year’s original Mi Mix, the device will first go on preview sale on October 17 via Flipkart and Mi.com. But if you’re among those looking to purchase the device offline, you need to wait until the first week of November.
As we’ve seen previously, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is already listed on Flipkart and Mi.com to register interest, and here’s how you can do it. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also offering free one-year month Hungama Music to those purchase Mi Mix 2. According to Xiaomi website, the offer is limited to first five lakh combined buyers of all the Mi and Redmi devices.
This way, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 buyers are supposed to be under first five lakh Mi and Redmi customers in order to avail free one-year subscription of Hungama Music. Xiaomi says its users can also avail free 3-month subscription of Hungama Play.
Mi Mix 2 sports a 5.99-inch edge-e display FHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 403 PPI. On the software front, it runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat based on company’s proprietary skin MIUI 9. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. The device comes with 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB storage.
Regarding imaging, the Mi Mix 2 offers a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS. The rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos. Up front, it has a 5-megapixel camera with facial recognition.
