In what could be the biggest news for Xiaomi fans in India so far, Xiaomi India chief Manu Jain has confirmed that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is coming to India. The announcement comes right after Xiaomi globally unveiled Xiaomi Mi Mix successor at a press event in China on Monday.

Notably, out of our list of smartphones Xiaomi is expected to launch in India in the coming months, Techook has got two predictions correct so far including Xiaomi Mi A1, which is a re-branded Mi 5X in terms of hardware that was launched in China last month.
The biggest attraction of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has to be its gorgeous-looking 5.99-inch bezel-less display and Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 835 SoC. That aside, it also features a ceramic unibody measuing 7.7mm in thickness and weighing 187g. Furthermore, it carries a massive 6GB of RAM under the hood and offers three storage options to choose from 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The company also unveiled Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 special edition that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The front side of the smartphone is completely taken up by 18:9 display, leaving room for extremely narrow bezels on the top and offering extra real-estate to let users consume more content on the screen. The rear, on the other hand, consists of a single 12MP main camera with 4-axis optical image stabilization. Up front, there is a 5MP secondary camera for selfies and video calls. It runs MIUI 9 on top of Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box and packs a 3,400mAh battery.
