The Chinese handset maker Xiaomi in partnership with HRX by Hrithik Roshan has launched the Mi Band HRX Edition in India today. The Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition is priced at Rs. 1,299 and it will be available for purchase via Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting September 18. The limited edition fitness band will hit across online stores Flipkart, Amazon and Myntra from September 20. There will be a preview sale as well at Curefit and Cult gyms from September 18 to September 20.

The new Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition has quite similar aspects as the Mi Band 2, like a splash resistant OLED display, however it offers an improved tracking algorithm to accurately monitor user’s activities. The limited HRX edition Mi Band is said to last up to 23 days on a single charge.

The Mi Band HRX Edition features a 0.42-inch OLED display with scratch-resistant glass, anti-fingerprint coating that will show time and step. It offers an improved pedometer algorithm and monitors users fitness and tracks sleep. The fitness band has a low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 chipset and comes with IP67 ratings for water resistance. The Xiaomi Mi Band HRX edition can also send calls and notification alerts, and unlock the paired smartphone when kept close to the fitness band. This functionality will be available on devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS or above.
