Xiaomi today launched a few new products in India, including the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2, Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini and two new power banks. Of these, the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 happens to a product line that is coming to India for the first time. Xiaomi has been increasing its focus on India steadily, as the country’s consumers continue to respond favourably to the limited portfolio of products offered by Xiaomi. In a bid to increase offline presence, and bolster its overall hold on India, Xiaomi has also opened up the first of many Mi Home stores in Bangalore, India. Today, the company launches a number of new products for the Indian consumers.
Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2
Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 is the easiest solution for Wi-Fi network drops in the house. It is compatible with most commercial router brands and is supposed to be easy to setup. The repeater is designed to deliver fast and stable connections for up to 16 devices. It is small in size and has two built-in high-performance antennas to boost the signal range.
The repeater has a clean design and takes up minimal space. If you’ve got Wi-Fi dead zones in your home, then the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 may be the budget solution you have been looking for. It also includes a USB connector to power the device via USB sockets, Power Banks or other devices. The USB connector also helps in easy setup with the Mi Router.
The Mi Wi-Fi Repeater has launched at a price of Rs. 999 and will be available exclusively on Mi.com and Mi Home from June 20.
Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini
The new Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini is another variant of the Bluetooth speakers by Xiaomi. Xiaomi’s new Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini sports a compact design and is easy to carry. It is packed into a smooth metal housing and has a total weight of just 58grams. This speaker features a built-in microphone with noise reduction to allow quality phone calls. It offers a battery life of up to 4 hours and supports Bluetooth 4.0.The price of the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini is set at Rs. 1,299 and it will come in two color variants – Grey and Gold, exclusively available on Mi.com and Mi Home from June 21 onwards.
Mi Power Bank 2
Mi Power Bank 2 with two-way fast charging and high-density batteries to come in two variants – 10,000 mAh and 20,000 mAH. The 10,000 mAH power bank has a thin anodized aluminum casing with a 180° ergonomic arc design and is just 14.1mm thin. On the other hand, the 20,000 mAH variants includes dual USB outputs and weighs just over 330 grams. The 10,000 mAh variant is priced at Rs. 1,199 ($19) whereas the 20,000 mAH variant will cost you Rs. 2,199 ($34). Both the power banks will be available in black color, on Mi.com and Mi Home from June 20 and on Amazon and Flipkart from July 07.
