Xiaomi 5X is all set to announce in China later this month, reports suggest. If what we have been hearing is true, Xiaomi will soon be having a new smartphone in its portfolio. The phone is spotted in a poster image. The device is rumoured to unveil officially on July 26. According to the picture, Xiaomi 5X boasts of a dual-rear camera setup and carries a price tag of 1,999 yuan (approximately Rs 19,010).
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is said to announce a new offline-only sub-brand later this month so that the company can have a strong offline presence. If you recall, it was being reported earlier that Xiaomi X1 will be the first device to launch under the company’s new sub-brand. However, that does not seem to be the case anymore.

An image of the upcoming Xiaomi phone was leaked recently, revealing the design. It resembles OnePlus 5 (Review) to some extent, which opted for similar design principles as Oppo R11 Plus and Apple iPhone 7 Plus (Review). The phone features a similar dual rear camera setup and antenna lines.
In other news, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with a massive battery is all set to launch in India on July 18. The phone packs a 5,300mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
