HTC U11 Eyes with face unlock feature announced


HTC announced HTC U11 EYEs in Taiwan for NT$14,900 (Approximately Rs 32,000). The key highlights, it provides dual front camera and Face Unlocking capabilities. The company handset goes on sale in several colour options like Sunny red, Hyun blue silver, Goggles black. It is unclear at the time of this writing whether HTC U11 Eyes will come to India or not. Hike Total based data-free smartphones launched


Hike partnered with domestic smartphone brands like Karbonn and Intex to announce Hike Total, a new Android-based platform that aims to let users access essential services like texting, news, rail information, weather, make and receive payments without an active internet connection. Oppo A83 goes on sale via online/offline channels


Oppo India launched yet another smartphone focused on offering selfie experience dubbed Oppo A83. Oppo claims to provide natural selfie experience to youngsters with their ‘AI Beauty Recognition Technology’. Oppo A83 went up for sale via both online and offline channels starting January 20.
