Highlights

    • Vodafone now offers 2GB 4G data per day at Rs 348
    • Airtel offers similar benefits in their Rs 349 plan
    • Jio’s 2GB per day plan costs Rs 509 but has longer validity

Vodafone has upgraded one of its popular prepaid plans with more data per day. As a result, Vodafone now offers 2GB daily data at the price of Rs 348. The offer was initially limited to prepaid users in Rajasthan with 1GB data per day. The upgraded Vodafone Rs 348 offer, however, applies to prepaid customers in Delhi/NCR too.

Vodafone Rs 348 plan has a validity of 28 days. Hence, users can benefit from a total of up to 56GB high-speed data. It also offers unlimited calls (local, STD and roaming) with a daily limit of 250 minutes and weekly limit of 1000 minutes.

Since it’s a limited period offer, interested customers need to go to the MyVodafone app and opt for Vodafone Rs 348 plan. Alternatively, they can also dial *121*348#.

Surprisingly, the details don’t reveal any information with regards to SMS. We hope the benefits include at least 100 SMS per day if not more. That’s where Airtel has the edge over Vodafone.

As a result, Vodafone Rs 348 plan now matches Airtel Rs 349 plan. Airtel has similar benefits to offer including 2800 local and national SMS with daily 100 SMS.

Similar to Vodafone Rs 348 plan, Airtel Rs 349 plan provides unlimited calls and 56GB of 4G data valid for 28 days with a daily FUP limit of 2GB.

Reliance Jio, meanwhile, has Rs 509 plan that offers 2GB daily data. However, Jio Rs 509 plan is valid for 49 days, unlike Airtel and Vodafone.

Jio Rs 509 plan offers unlimited voice and up to 98GB data. Furthermore, it also provides unlimited SMS and access to other Jio apps and services.

If we compare all three plans, Airtel and Vodafone cost approximately Rs 12.40 per day. Though Jio seems more pricier of the lot at first glance, it costs around Rs 10.40 per day due to its additional validity, thus making it the most value for money plan among the three at the moment.
