Vodafone is now offering a new integrated voice and data pack dubbed ‘Vodafone Chhota Champion’ for prepaid users. As the name suggests, the pack is priced at Rs 38. Subscribing to this pack will benefit users with 100 local and STD calling minutes in addition to 100MB of 3G/4G data. It’s a monthly pack that has a validity of 28 days.
Speaking about the new Vodafone Rs 38 pack, the company’s Avneesh Khosla said: “It is a first-of-its-kind integrated offering that allows you to stay connected for an entire month at an economical price. As an additional benefit for customers, we have also built in 100MB of data that, we hope, will get them started on their internet journey.”
Vodafone Chhota Champion pack apparently targets the audience whose focus remains on value for money experience. Going forward, Vodafone also appealed users to stay “confidently connected” and make use of its SuperNet 4G experience.
Last but not least, Vodafone users who reside in some parts of the country like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can avail 100 Local and STD Calling minutes and 200 MB of 2G data for 28 days at Rs 38. Users who are interested in buying this pack can do so at all retail outlets, USSD, website and MyVodafone app.
We will wait and watch how Airtel and Jio respond to this offer, and if the telecom war reaches the entry-level shores too. In other news, Vodafone recently announced new RED plans for postpaid users starting at Rs 499. These plans also offer data rollover benefits similar to Airtel.
