Vivo has launched yet another selfie-focused smartphone in India- the Vivo Y66. The highlight of the smartphone is of course its selfie camera which bears a 16-megapixel sensor on the front. The company has introduced the new Vivo Y66 smartphone at a price of Rs. 14,990. The smartphone and will be available in Crown Gold and Matte Black colour options.
The new Vivo Y66 features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. It has a metallic unibody design. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). The handset runs Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As for the optics, the Vivo Y66 sports a 16-megapixel front facing camera with Moonlight Glow display flash feature and f/2.0 aperture. On the rear, the device gets a 13-megapixel module with an aperture f/2.2 and LED flash. The smartphone comes with ‘Smart Screen-Split’ feature as well for multitasking. Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 with OTG, GPS, and FM radio. Sensors on the board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The phone measures 153.8×75.5×7.6mm, and weighs 155 grams.
