After numerous leak and rumours, the Chinese handset maker Vivo has finally introduced the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus in China. As expected, the handsets feature Full View near bezel-less screens with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The key atrribute of the Vivo X20 and the Vivo X20 Plus is its dual rear cameras. Both the handsets come with 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilisation, and LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front it has a 12-megapixel camera with soft LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. Except for the battery and screen size other specification on the new Vivo handsets are same.

Both Vivo X20 and X20 Plus is powered by Qualcomm latest mobile platform, Snapdragon 660 SoC based on 14nm process combining Adreno 512 GPU for graphics. The devices offer 4GB RAM and 64GB native storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM X20 and X20 Plus runs FunTouch OS 3.2 based Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

As mentioned the new Vivo smartphones sports Full View Super AMOLED display with full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Vivo X20 features a 6.01-inch screen with 85.3 percent screen-to-body ratio meanwhile the Plus variant gets a 6.43-inch display with 86.11 percent screen-to-body ratio. The generic version packs a 3245mAh battery and the X20 Plus pegs-in a slightly big 3905mAh battery.

The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the rear panel below dual rear camera setup. The hybrid dual-SIM Vivo X20 an X20 Plus supports 4G VoLTE and comes with fast charging capability. The smartphones carries metal unibody design and offers new AI function customised services. Connectivity options on the devices include-  4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB 2.0, OTG, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.

As for pricing, the Vivo X20 has been priced at CNY 2,998 (roughly Rs. 29,600) while the X20 Plus comes with a price of CNY 3,498 (around Rs. 34,500). The smartphones come in three colour options- Matte Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour. The handsets will be up for pre-orders from tomorrow September 22 and it will go on sale from September 30 in China.
