Vivo the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has sent out invites for a launch event to be held in New Delhi on November 20. As per the invite, Vivo will be launching the Vivo V7 in India at the event. The smartphone is expected to go on sale later this month. The Vivo V7 is expected to be a more affordable version of the V7+, which was recently launched in India at a price tag of Rs 21,990. The USP of the device will be its bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device has already been announced in Indonesia, and carries a price tag $300 (Approximately Rs 19,600).
As for the specifications, the Vivo V7 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ FullView display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, which is the same one used in the V7+. It comes with 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The company has made the device available in two colour options – Matte Black and Gold. However, it remains to be seen which ones the company will end up bringing to India.
About the camera, the Vivo V7 comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0 along with a LED flash. On the front, it features a 24-megapixel camera for selfies with an aperture of f/2.0 along with an LED flash. All of this is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The device runs Google’s Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 3.2 skin on top.
