Many new, affordable handsets are being launched in India these days. We have seen brands like Intex and Lava coming up with their budget offerings in the country recently. Indian smartphone maker Swipe Technologies expanded its budget lineup with a new device dubbed Swipe Elite Pro for Rs 6,999. It goes on sale exclusively on Snapdeal starting today, October 8. The phone in question supports 4G VoLTE in order to be compatible with Reliance Jio network, which has become a sort of mainstream these days.
As far as specs go, Swipe Elite Pro sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. Powering the device is a 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor and 3GB of RAM. The company hasn’t revealed details with regards to its exact chipset, though. It offers 32GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The dual-SIM Swipe Elite Pro comes without a dedicated microSD card support. Instead, it relies on a second hybrid SIM card slot as far as storage expandability is concerned. Camera-wise, it houses a 13MP rear shooter with LED Flash as well as an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls.
Swipe Elite Pro flaunts a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that sits below the primary camera and LED flash. It measures 143.4 x 71.8 x8.7 mm in dimensions and weighs 165g. In addition to VoLTE support, it is backed by WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It carries a 2,500mAh battery under the hood.
