Sony Xperia XZ1 with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box has been launched in India. If you recall, Sony first announced Xperia XZ1 at IFA 2017 tradeshow along with XZ1 Compact earlier this month. Sony Xperia XZ1 price in India is Rs 44,990. The device goes on sale via both online and offline channels starting today (September 25th). Launch offers include 5% cashback on HDFC debit/credit card and ICICI credit card.
Some new Sony Xperia XZ1 feature includes 3D scanning mode. So, it scans through objects to generate 3D image sends them directly to a 3D printer or social media websites.
In terms of specs, Sony Xperia XZ1 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass Glass protection. Design-wise, it flaunts a slim, metal chassis with glass on the front. It runs on Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 GPU for graphics, and 4GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD.
In terms of optics, Sony Xperia XZ1 houses a 19MP Exmor RS sensor with slow-mo video recording at 940fps as well as 4K video recording. Up front is a 13MP front shooter with a wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. It packs a 2,700mAh battery under the hood that works in tandem with Qnovo adaptive charging and Quick Charge 3.0.
Sony Xperia XZ1 is a dual-SIM smartphone runs that integrates all the standard set of connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Last week, Sony Xperia XA1 Plus arrived in India at the price of Rs 24,990. The device is already available to buy at all Sony Centre and major electronics store across India.
