Sony Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra smartphones have received a price cut in of Rs 2,000 in India. As a result, both Sony Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra are now priced at Rs 17,990 and Rs 27,990 respectively. If you recall, both the smartphones debuted at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona earlier this year. Previously, XA1 and XA1 Ultra were priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 29,990 in the Indian market.
Sony Xperia XA successor features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and as Sony says, the company’s words the ‘edge-to-edge’ screen backed by technologies for delivering a crisp, sharp viewing experience. Powering Xperia XA1 is an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek Helio P20 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It consists of 32GB of expandable storage (up to 256GB). It houses a 23MP main camera and an 8-megapixel autofocus camera.
Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra, on the other hand, is all about its massive 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. The successor to first XA Ultra, it boasts of metal unibody design and narrow bezels across the sides. It is backed by a 2,700mAh battery with fast charging support, which is claimed to charge up to 60 percent in 45 minutes. It sports a 6-inch Full HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Inside is a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.
