Sony in its official blog post said that with 3D creator it will “let you scan your face, head, food or any object, rendering it as a 3D avatar or free-form image in less than 60 seconds, and makes it easy to share on social media with friends or 3D print.”

Other features on the Xperia XZ Premium Android Oreo update include- Predictive capture, autofocus burst that will recognise, track and capture a sequence of moving objects to avoid blur cropping on the images.

Sony notes that the software update will be rolled out in a phased manner which means it will take time to reach out all Xperia XZ Premium units.
