  3. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might launch in September: Report

Highlights

    • Previous reports had suggested an August launch which might have been delayed.
    • The smartphone is being reported to be even larger than the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might be the most expensive smartphone the technology manufacturer might launch say reports. Venture Beat reported, Samsung might have delayed the launch of its long rumoured Galaxy Note 8 to the second half of September, they also reported that the device might be costing approximately EUR 1,000 (Rs. 72196).

Previously, Reuters also had reported that Samsung will launch the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in August. Reuters had also been tipped by someone in the company that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a curved screen marginally larger than the Galaxy S8 Plus, the source also had mentioned that the smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup, which might make the alleged Galaxy Note 8 Samsung’s first smartphone to sport a dual camera setup.

Other reports also suggest that the Galaxy Note 8 to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED edge to edge display, to be powered by the Exynos 8895 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC depending on the region where Samsung will be selling the phone in, all this is reported to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It is also expected that Samsung will bring this smartphone with the DeX capability they introduced with the Galaxy S8.

These reports seem to confirm the Galaxy Note 8 panel leaks that we had reported on earlier. This also might be the most important launch for Samsung due to the Galaxy Note 7 debacle that happened last year, though the Galaxy S8 might have seemed to reassure the customers, Samsung is yet to revive the Galaxy Note lineup from that.
