Samsung has launched the Galaxy J7 Nxt, adding a new smartphone to its J7 series in India. The handset priced at Rs. 11,490 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the box. Available in Gold and Black colour variant, the smartphone can be purchased from Samsung’s official website and through offline retail stores.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7870 processor. The smartphone offers 2gigabytes of RAM and 16GB onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. In terms of imaging, the Galaxy J7 Nxt features a 13-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. On the front, it gets a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras feature LED flash which means a user will be able to capture better images in low light condition. The phone comes with a plastic body with patterned design on the back panel.
The dual-SIM (hybrid) Galaxy J7 Nxt packs a 3000mAh battery and supports 4G FDD LTE. The smartphone includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS in its connectivity suite. Sensors on-board include- Accelerometer and proximity sensor. The phone also comes with Samsung Gear support like Gear Fit, Gear Fit2, Gear2 Neo, Gear S3 to name a few. The Galaxy J7 Nxt is 7.6mm thick and weighs 170 grams.
With the addition of a new smartphone to its J series, Samsung seems to be expanding its mid-range smartphone market in India. To refresh, the South Korean tech company last month launched the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro for a price of Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 20,900 respectively. These two Galaxy J7 smartphones are the first to integrate Samsung Pay Mini mobile payment solution in India.
