Samsung has added another smartphone to its J-series with the J5 Pro. The smartphone has been launched in Thailand for a price of 9900 Baht which is roughly Rs. 18,800. The Galaxy J5 Pro is an upgraded version of the recently launched Galaxy J5 (2017). The company has also launched the 2017 versions of J7, J5 and J3 series in Netherlands in June.
The Galaxy J5 Pro sports a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and is powered by their own Exynos 7870 octa-core 64bit processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera and also packs a 3000 mAh battery. The phone runs on Android Nougat with Samsung’s own skin running on top.
The phone comes with all basic connectivity options like 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. As we said earlier this is an upgrade to the earlier launched Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) which had only 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. This version of the Samsung J5 comes with 32GB of onboard storage and 3GB RAM.
Last month, the company launched the J7 Max and J7 Pro in India for Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 20,900 respectively. The company has already announced the release of J3(2017), J5(2017) and J7(2017) in India, but there are no specific dates revealed yet. J-series by Samsung are a set of mid-range phones which were introduced in 2016.
