Reliance LYF C451 yet another entry-level 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone has been announced in exclusive partnership with Reliance Digital. Priced at 4,999, the device is also selling on Reliance Jio website. If you don’t want to pay the full amount upfront, you can also opt for EMI starting from Rs 237.66. EMI is applicable only on credit card, though. Interestingly, the device is also eligible for Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and 20% more Jio data offer.
The Reliance LYF C451 boasts of a relatively compact design, measuring 9.8mm in thickness and weighing 165g. The dual-SIM phone comes in white colour and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Both the SIM slots are 4G enabled. However, only one slot can operate on a 4G network at a time while the other will operate on 2G. It packs a 2,800mAh hot-swappable battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 240 hours of standby time and 12.5 hours of talktime.
On the front, the Reliance LYF C451 sports a 4.5-inch (11.43 cm) IPS LCD featuring 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution, 218 ppi pixel density, and 2D Asahi Glass protection. Internally, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core SoC bundled with Adreno 304 GPU for graphics, and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
As far as photography is concerned, the Reliance LYF C451 houses a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and HD (720p) recording support at 30 frames per second (fps). Up front, there’s a 2-megapixel secondary shooter for selfies and video calls. Both the front and rear cameras support 6x digital zoom. Some other camera features include face detection, smile, detection, gaze detection, blink detection, etc.
In terms of connectivity, the Reliance LYF C451 deals with 3G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB 2.0 port with on-the-go (OTG) support. The set of sensors includes an accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light.
Last month, Reliance Retail Ltd. announced LYF C459 at an entry-level price of Rs 4,699.
