At the time when Mukesh-Ambani led Reliance Industries Limited announced the most-anticipated Reliance JioPhone last month for an effective price of Rs 0, little did we know with regards to the procedure involved in order to buy one for yourself or your family members. If you recall, Mr. Ambani made it clear at the time of launch Reliance JioPhone will be available first to beta testers starting August 15 and actual bookings start August 24 on first come first serve basis. In spite of that, certain offline retailers in Delhi-NCR region have jumped the gun and already started taking orders, reports Gadgets360.
“Reliance Jio has a ‘keep me posted’ form listed on its official website and similar sort of an exercise some of the retailers on their own probably would have started even offline to get a sense of it. None of the official Reliance Jio Digital Stores have begun taking orders nor will they do before August 24,” Reliance Jio spokesperson confirmed to Techook.
