Evidently, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani mentioned about the high-speed internet services back in September last year when Jio VoLTE services were officially launched in the country.
The broadband service which aims to cover the ‘top 100’ cities in India will not be limited to only home users. Reliance Jio additionally plans to expand this service and also make its available to enterprise users. The company’s Jio Fiber also finds mention on the official website under the Quick Pay > Recharge menu. However, there is no information regarding the price and availability of the broadband service on the page and neither is there an option to sign up for the service. We can be assured that given what Reliance Jio has done in the mobile internet space, JioFiber connections could likely follow a similar disruptive trend.
