Samsung has been working on a refurbished Galaxy Note 7 unit for some time now, as reported by GSMArena the device last month got an FCC certification, and now it has gotten another version approved by the FCC, which according to the report could be the European version of the Refurbished Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung might name the long rumoured refurbished Galaxy Note 7, as the Galaxy Note 7R or Galaxy Note FE, it will come with a downsized battery. It is crucial that Samsung gets the battery right this time, and the Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 does not face a similar fate to the Galaxy Note 7, which caught on fire due to the battery defect.
The FCC approved listing shows two model numbers of the alleged Galaxy Note 7R or Galaxy Note FE whatever Samsung ends up naming the device. The two model numbers were SM-N935F and SM-N935FD, Samsung uses the letter F for the European devices, thus hinting a European launch in the coming months.
Taking a look at the model numbers of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S7 which are SM-G950F and SM-N930F we can say that all European devices follow the nameing convetion ending with the etter F. Also, if we take a look at the Galaxy Note 7 Europen listing it went by SM-N930F.
The rumours also state that the Samsung might be launching the Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 globally on July 7 though there isn’t any confirmation on the launch of this device, or even if this device is being manufactured.
