Panasonic has launched two new smartphones in its Eluga family- the Eluga Pulse and Eluga Pulse X. These 4G VoLTE enabled smartphones will go on sale across India starting next week. The Panasonic Eluga Pulse is priced at Rs. 9,690 and the Panasonic Eluga Pulse X is for Rs. 10,990.
Both the devices run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and come with Android-for-security work feature that allow the user to separate personal and work apps and control data and privacy. The fingerprint sensor on the smartphones are located below the rear camera.
Talking about specifications, the Panasonic Eluga Pulse features a 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragon Trail glass for protection. It runs on a 1.25 GHz quad core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). In terms of the optic, Eluga Pulse features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing ‘Selfie’ camera. The handset is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
The Pulse Eluga X is a bigger variant that sport a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragon Trail glass protection. The phone is powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It comes with microSD support which is expandable up to 128GB. Panasonic Eluga Pulse X gets similar 13-megapixel camera module on the back panel and a 5-megapixel camera at front. The phone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Both the smartphones support 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
