The Japanese tech company, Panasonic has just announced its latest smartphone from the Eluga series, the Panasonic Eluga A4. The new Eluga smartphone is launched at a price of Rs. 12,490.

The highlight of the Eluga A4 is its massive 5000mAh battery capacity. The successor to the Eluga A3 features a 5.2-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.25GHz.The chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.

As for the camera, the Eluga A4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is powered by company’s proprietary AI-based assistant, ARBO. The in-house developed virtual assistant was first introduced on Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X that was launched in India in March this year. Connectivity options on the phone include- 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB OTG (on-the-go).

Earlier this year, Panasonic announced that will be launching 15 smartphones for Indian consumers all of them would come under the price bracket Rs. 15,000. The company brought four smartphones in March this year- Eluga Pulse, Eluga Pulse X for a price starting at Rs. 9,690 and later it launched Ray Max and Ray Max with a price tag starting at Rs. 8,999. The company recently launched Eluga Ray 700 that also packs a behemoth size 5000mAh battery for a price of Rs. 9,999.
