The Chinese handset maker Oppo has partnered with Reliance Jio to provide some lucrative offers to its consumers. Under the partnership, consumers who buy an Oppo handset and enroll into Jio Prime membership, will get additional 4G data of up to 60GB on a recharge of Rs. 309 or above.
But here’s the catch that purchasers need to know before locking up their decision to buy an Oppo smartphone. First up, the 60GB data will be available to eligible subscribers till the validity of their Prime membership lapses on March 31 next year. Secondly, for those who buy the handset will be offered a total of six recharges each carrying additional 10GB data that will be activated within 48 hours. Further the offer is applicable on the following devices- Oppo F3, Oppo F3 Plus and Oppo F1 Plus.
If buyers prefer to buy the Oppo F1s, A57, A37 or A33, they will get 7GB additional data (on every recharge of Rs. 309 or above) per month for 6 months offering up to 42GB of 4G data. These benefits will be available to all eligible subscribers from June 30, 2017.
These offers will be available for both existing and new Reliance Jio users. Tto activate it, users will need to first download the MyJio app on their Oppo phone. The app once downloaded open it select My Vouchers followed by View voucher option. Choose Recharge my number, and then Confirm Recharge which will give a successful recharge notification. The additional data voucher shall then reflect under the My Plans section.
Evidently, this is not the first time Reliance Jio had partnered with smartphone brands to offer data benefits. The telecom operator in June this year partnered with Chinese OEM, Xiaomi to offer 30GB additional 4G data to Xiaomi smartphone users. Gionee also tied up a deal in the same month offering data benefits of 10GB additional data for a maximum of 6 recharges.
“For OPPO, customer satisfaction and delivering the best experience has always been a key focus area. Through this association, we will be able to reach out to more consumers and help them experience technology at its best,” Oppo India’s Brand Director, Will Yang said.
