OPPO has released the upgraded version of its F1s smartphone. The new smartphone comes with 4GB RAM which adds an extra 1GB in comparison to its predecessor which has 3GB RAM. OPPO has also doubled its internal storage which is now backed by 64GB of storage.
The rest of the specifications are similar to the earlier OPPO F1s smartphone. The key highlight of the upgraded F1s is its 16MP front camera. OPPO which is known for its premium selfie-expert smartphones, promises to offer a perfect selfie experience to its users. The front camera comes with Beautify 4.0 and 1/3.1 inch customised sensor. The rear camera carries a resolution of 13megapixel.
The upgraded F1s smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 3.0 on top of it. The phone features a 5.5 inch full HD display and is powered by an octa-core MT6750 processor. It is backed by a 3,075 mAh battery.
The new Oppo F1s has a front-facing fingerprint sensor which recognises a fingerprint to unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds. It can also assign 5 different fingerprints to different apps and contacts. The user can directly launch an app or start a phone call with one touch on the smartphone. The new device carries a triple-slot card tray which supports two nano 4G sim cards and a micro SD card.
The older F1s which is priced at Rs.17,990; if the user is willing to buy the upgraded version they will have to pay an extra Rs.1000 for the new smartphone. Priced at Rs.18,990 the upgrade F1s comes in two colors Grey and Gold. The company will start selling the upgraded OPPO F1s by the end of November and will be available in the OPPO stores across India in the coming days. Adding a surprise in the upgrade, OPPO says that the first 50,000 buyers of the OPPO F1s will get an exclusive OPPO Dr.Strange cover. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon from December.
