The rumour mill is buzzing with word of Oppo’s new smartphone the Oppo Find 9. Leaked renders that surfaced last month had revealed that the upcoming phone will have a bezel-less design on the sides and a slight bezel on top and bottom of the device. Now a new report from China claims that the phone might be announced in March.
As per the new leak report, the Oppo Find 9 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QHD display. The report suggest that the phone will feature a 21-megapixel rear camera and 16-megapixel sensor on the front. The phone is also said to pack a massive 4,100mAh battery and come with support for Super VOOC Flash Charge. Oppo Find 9 is expected to run a new Find OS based on a new AI system. The smartphone is rumoured to be priced at around RMB 3,999 (around $580) for the base version.
Earlier leak reports speculated that the phone might launch in two variants-one to be powered with the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset while the other might come with Snapdragon 653 chipset. The Snapdragon 835 chipset version will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The lower variant of the smartphone which is said to be powered with Snapdragon 653 processor will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.
The Chinese manufacturer had announced the Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a smartphones under Find series back in March 2014. If the company follows the same cycle, then the new Oppo Find 9 might be unveiled in March this year.
