With Motorola launching its new Moto G5 Plus in India today, Oppo is up next on the line for a new smartphone launch, the Oppo F3 Plus.
The company has announced that it will unveil the new dual ‘selfie’ camera smartphone- Oppo F3 Plus in India on March 23. The smartphone will also be launched in four other markets- Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Vietnam on the same day.
The Chinese smartphone maker has put out a teaser in its Oppo India twitter account which reads- “The force of an all-new #SelfieExpert is looming over the horizon. It’s coming on the 23rd of March. Are you ready? #OPPOF3Plus”. The company is also expected to unveil the smaller variant Oppo F3 at the launch event.

Boasting on the front camera of the device, Oppo has claimed that the Oppo F3 Plus will be the first smartphone to feature a dual front facing camera setup.
Oppo F3 Plus will have a 16-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel sub camera on the front panel.”The F3 Series will take selfie technology onto another level as well as it sets new trends. We are confident it will be a great success and will set a standard that others will follow,” Sky Li, Oppo Global Vice President and President of Oppo India said in a statement.
Although the company has not shared any other details about the smartphone, the Oppo F3 Plus is tipped to sport a 6-inch full HD (1080p) display as per report. The phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 653 system on chip (SoC) paired with 4GB RAM/64GB internal memory. The phone is also said to pack a big 4000mAh battery.
