It seems the colour ‘black’ has become the recent favourite among the Chinese smartphone manufacturers. With OnePlus recently launching the Matte Black version of the flagship smartphone OnePlus 3T, Oppo has now brought the black colour variant of the ‘selfie-focused’ smartphone Oppo F3 Plus.
The company intially launched the Gold version of smartphone and now it has added the black colour model in India with the same price tag of Rs. 30,990. The phone went on sale in the country from Saturday, April 15, Oppo said.
To refresh, Oppo launched its selfie-focus Oppo F3 smartphone in India last month. The phone went on sale on April 1. The highlight of the smartphone is, of course, its dual front-facing camera. The handset features a 16-megapixel 1/3.1-inch sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens on the front. On the back, it has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with dual-PDAF (phase detection autofocus), an f/1.7 aperture, and dual-LED flash.
In terms of display, the phone features a 6-inch full-HD (1920×1080 resolution) screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The dual-SIM Oppo F3 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAm. The smartphone comes with an internal storage of 64GB which is further expandable via microSD slot (up to 256GB). The fingerprint sensor on the Oppo F3 Plus is located underneath the home button. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS v3.0 UI layered on top.
The handset packs a 4000mAh battery and comes with Oppo’s own VOOC Flash Charge fast charging support. Connectivity options on the Oppo F3 Plus smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB with OTG (on-the-go).
