OnePlus’ latest flagship, the OnePlus 5T still runs on the year-old Android Nougat OS, although its predecessors OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3 & 3T have already started receiving Google’s new Android OS version, Android Oreo. But OnePlus 5T users may not have to wait that long for the software update as the Chinese handset maker has started teasing the Android Oreo Beta update for the OnePlus 5T.
The company took to the Deutschland (German) official Twitter handle to announce the Android Oreo Open Beta Program for the OnePlus 5T. The tweet after translation reads, “Christmas is over, but we still have a present for you! 😉 How about the Open Beta for Android Oreo on the #OnePlus5T?”
