    • The phone is tipped to feature a minimal bezel 6-inch full HD+ display
    • The fingerprint sensor is said to be moved to the back panel

OnePlus’ current flagship, the OnePlus 5 will soon take the OnePlus 3 route. Users witnessed an upgraded model of the OnePlus 3 just six months after its official unwrap, and OnePlus is all set to repeat history and bring an upgrade version of OnePlus 5 that will be officially unveiled tomorrow. The new handset will be launched under the moniker OnePlus 5T on November 16.

While we are just a day away from the official OnePlus 5T launch, the rumour mills and leak radars have showered us with enough information to give us a pretty good idea of what upgrades we might witness on the upcoming OnePlus flagship. So here’s everything we know about the OnePlus 5T so far:

OnePlus 5T rumoured Specifications

According to reports, the new OnePlus 5T will bow to the popular smartphone trend of this year- minimal bezel display. Reports suggest that the smartphone will feature a 6-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with 2160×1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Like the OnePlus 5, the upgrade version is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 835 chipset. The upcoming OnePlus 5T recently surfaced on GFXBench that revealed its key aspects. The listing came in line with the previous leaks and rumours suggesting that the handset might ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It also showed off the OnePlus 5T packing a massive 8GB of RAM and Adreno 540 graphics.

Available internal storage was seen at 111GB that likely refers to 128GB of storage space. Further, the smartphone is seen sporting a 16MP camera up front. As for the rear camera, several reports suggest that the new OnePlus smartphone might get an upgrade. The Chinese OEM will likely bump up the dual rear camera setup to 20MP sensors each instead of one 20MP and another 16MP sensor on the OnePlus 5.

OnePlus CEO, Carl Pei, recently teased the imaging sensors on the OnePlus 5T by tweeting a picture along with a caption saying, “Cool photo, must have come from a great camera”. Pete Lau joining the teaser game shared another image that appears to be shot in Portrait mode. The Chinese handset maker had confirmed that the new OnePlus phone will retain the standard 3.5mm jack for audio.

Apparently, the power button will remain in the same place as in the OnePlus 5, if Evan Blass leaked render is to be believed. And since OnePlus seems to be opting for a full display smartphone, the hardware buttons will likely be replaced to make room for the elongated screen. An image that appeared last week on Weibo suggested that the fingerprint sensor will be moved to the rear panel.

OnePlus 5T global and India price

As for the pricing, the OnePlus 5T is tipped to cost nearly similar to the current flagship. The new OnePlus smartphone is expected to come at a cost of around $519. Though the India pricing is not known yet, we expect it to be marginally higher than that of the OnePlus 5 at launch, probably Rs 34999 for the 6GB/64GB model and Rs 39999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. It may soon come down to the current OnePlus 5 level with its predecessor getting a few thousand Rupees cheaper by the end of the year.

OnePlus 5T launch date and availability

The OnePlus 5T will be officially announced on November 16 in Brooklyn, New York City. The OnePlus 5T launch event that holds the title “New View” will start at 11:00 AM EST (9:30 PM IST). There will be an early access flash sale in India, Europe and North America as well on November 21. The phone will officially go on sale on November 28. Notably, OnePlus last week confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be an Amazon India exclusive.
