The newly launched OnePlus 5T flagship smartphone will go on sale in India starting today. The phone will be available exclusively Amazon India from 4:30 pm onwards, in addition to official OnePlus India online store – oneplusstore.in.
Although OnePlus 5T will go for sale in India for the first time, users should keep in mind this is an early access sale. Meaning, it is limited to Amazon Prime members. OnePlus is also hosting an early access sale for it users. To keep yourself notified about the sale, go to OnePlus 5T official product on the company website and select the Subscribe option. It will then ask you to enter your email ID.
As far as pricing is concerned, the OnePlus 5T costs similar to its predecessor, OnePlus 5. The 6GB RAM/64GB storage version is priced at Rs 32,999 while the 8GB/128GB version comes at the price of for Rs. 37,999. Talking about specifications, the phone is accommodated by a tall 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic-AMOLED screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is sculpted out of anodized aluminum and has antenna bands running along the curvature.
Similar to OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T packs a 16MP+20MP primary dual camera with dual LED flash. However, the aperture is now f/1.7 for both the cameras, unlike its predecessor. The camera supports portrait mode for bokeh effect. The primary camera can record up to 4K videos at 30 frames per second. Up front, there is a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, the OnePlus 5T runs OxygenOS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It is powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. OnePlus has moved the fingerprint sensor to the rear side to create more room for the screen. It packs 3300mAh battery and supports Dash Charging.
The open sale for the new OnePlus flagship will commence on November 28 both via Amazon India and OnePlus website.
