OnePlus 5 official unveiling is just a few days away and the company while announcing the smartphone launch date said that it will host pop-up events in select cities globally. As the Chinese OEM is all set to launch its next flagship in India on June 22, it has now announced that it will host four pop-up events in the country.

OnePlus will hold pop-up events in four metro cities in India that include- New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. OnePlus fans at these events will be able to test and buy the new flagship. OnePlus, however, said that there will be limited stocks.  The pop-up events will start from June 23-June 25 with the first one scheduled to take place in New Delhi. Bangalore and Chennai next in line, the pop-up events will be held in these cities on June 24 followed by Hyderabad a day later i.e., June 25. Besides, OnePlus will also host #TheChosen5 contest across social media platforms-Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter where five lucky winners will get a chance to grab the new OnePlus 5.

Ahead of its official unwrap, the company has already outed a few important aspects of the new OnePlus 5. OnePlus has confirmed that the new handset will feature Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line processor, Snapdragon 835. The phone will have a horizontally stacked dual rear cameras. It will be thinner than the current model OnePlus 3T. The standard 3.5mm audio jack won’t be ditched and it will have a front-facing fingerprint sensor.

The company emphasizing on the imaging quality of its upcoming flagship collaborated with DXO last month, to offer enhanced photography experience. The OnePlus 5 is expected to feature 5.5-inch display and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
