OnePlus has released another beta build for its premium flagship killer OnePlus 3 smartphones. The updated Oxygen OS 3.5.5 Beta 7 brings in some new features and improvements for the OnePlus 3 users.

With a file size weighing just 59MB, there’s no major change that could be found in the update. The OS 3.5.5 Beta 7, however, includes an entirely new audio tuner. The user can find this update under Settings>Sound>Audio

The bug issues which were found previously on the OnePlus 3 can now be fixed with updated Oxygen OS. There is a selection of bug fixes added in the latest update. A new background app freezing mechanism is included in the update which will amplify the battery life. The black screen problem which occurred before while resuming high-end games or exiting games in horizontal orientation can now be fixed with OS 3.5.5 Beta 7.

The update has also brought in some tweaks by redesigning the accent color and the clock UI. It has updated Google security patch for October to protect the device from latest OS exploits. The fixed launch related crashes, better camera software are some of the other add-ons that come along in the OS 3.5.5 Beta 7, the latest update is also said to boost the system stability of the OnePlus 3.

Although OnePlus has brought this new software build for the OnePlus 3, the users who are clamoring for the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, the new update might set back their expectations for a while.

The Oxygen OS 3.5.5 Beta 7 will be rolled out via OTA(over-the-air) within the next few days but only to those who have already enrolled into the Beta branch.
