OnePlus, just a few days back showcased its newest offering, the OnePlus 5T. The company said during the launch that it will start the beta roll-out of Android 8.0 Oreo for the OnePlus 5T in December. This made OnePlus 3, 3T and 5 owners think they would be getting the update much later. The users, along with regular Android Oreo upgrades, will be getting a few additional features from OnePlus.

  • The security patch is updated to September 2017
  • New Quick Settings design
  • Notification Dots
  • New app folder design
  • Direct uploads to Shot

As per the change log, the new OxygenOS 5.0 comes with some optimizations and fixes as per the community feedback.
