OnePlus has just announced on their forum, that the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T are getting a new software update. This new update of the OxygenOS will be focusing on software improvements and bug fixes, while a new feature will also be added.

The new feature being added will help OnePlus users, with the OxygenOS 4.1.5 update be able to get important information from OnePlus, in the form of push notifications.

The update is also meant to improve the performance of your smartphone. Here is the what OnePlus has announced, about the new additions, and tweaks done in the software.

New additions

  • Added system push notifications for important information from OnePlus


  • Updated network settings for select carriers
  • Updated OnePlus Community app to v1.8
  • Updated Android Security Patch level to 1st May 2017
  • Modified WiFi no internet indication icon

  • Fixed storage issue present on 3rd party file managers
  • Fixed VoLTE issue on certain Jio SIM cards
  • Fixed connection issue on Android Auto

This new update will start rolling out for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users today.

OnePlus has been focusing too much on the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T. Due to which the company still hasn’t provided the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the OnePlus 2, for which the OnePlus 2 users have been waiting for a long time.

The OnePlus 5 is scheduled to launch worldwide on June 20, and in India on June 22.
