ZTE, the Chinese conglomerate has launched a new smartphone under its Nubia brand in India. The company on Monday have announced the Nubia Z11 mini S in India at a price of Rs. 16,999. The Amazon exclusive handset will be available in two colour variants- Khaki Grey and Moon Gold starting from March 21, 4pm onwards.
To remind, the Nubia Z11 mini S under the Nubia Z11 series was officially introduced in China back in October last year in two storage versions- 64GB and 128GB. However, the Chinese tech company has brought only the 4GB RAM+64GB variant (expandable up to 200GB using microSD card) in India.
The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. It comes with a pixel density of 424ppi and brightness of 450 nits. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. The key features of the Nubia Z11 mini S is its rear camera that gets a 23-megapixel Sony IM318 sensor (PDAF+contrast autofocus) and the aircraft-grade aluminium body. Meanwhile, the front camera on the device has a SONY IMX258 CMOS sensor with contrast autofocus, and ƒ2.0 aperture.
On the software front, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with nubia UI 4.0 skin on top of it. This is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports 4G VoLTE. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel.
Connectivity options on the nubia Z11 mini S include- Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C, GLONASS. Sensors on the phone include Electronic compass, G-sensor, Light sensor, Gyro-sensor and Proximity sensor. The Nubia Z11 mini S smartphone has a 3000mAh non-removable battery that comes with nubia’s NeoPower energy support.
