Nubia today expanded its portfolio in India by announcing a new mid-range phone dubbed Nubia N2. The device is available exclusively on Amazon in a couple of colour variants such as Black Gold and Champagne Gold. The company has put a tag price of Rs 15,999 on this phone, which is likely to compete with the likes of similarly priced Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Review) and Lenovo P2. The Nubia N2 was unveiled a few months ago in China alongside Nubia M2 and M2 Lite (Review).

To discuss about the specifications of Nubia N2, the selling point of this phone has to be its massive 5,000mAh battery. The dual-SIM phone comes with two nano SIM slots and a hybrid memory card slot for storage expansion. Up front, there is a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel featuring 720p HD resolution resulting 268 pixels per inch (PPI). Inside is a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor in addition to Mali-T860 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.

On the software front, the Nubia N2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with nubia UI 4.0 on top. As for photography, the phone houses a 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), LED flash, and f/2.2 aperture. Up front, it consists a massive 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Hence, this phone seems to have a promising factor as far as capturing selfies and video calling is concerned. Design-wise, the Nubia N2 flaunts a metal unibody measuring 7.9mm in thickness and weighing 180g, which undoubtedly falls under the heavier side. The standard set of connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C.
