Vivo V5 Plus is offering up to Rs 19,000 off upon purchasing the device with the exchange. Vivo V5 Plus price has also been slashed by Rs 3,000, so those not looking to opt for exchange offer can buy it upfront at the discounted price of Rs 25,900. Customers will also get additional 10GB free data from Reliance Jio.

Vivo V5 Plus has come a long way since its initial launch in India earlier this year. The key highlight, Vivo V5 Plus has two (20-megapixel + 8-megapixel) selfie cameras with front flash. The selfie camera is further backed by a beautification mode for better output. Design-wise, the device boasts of a metal unibody, measuring 7.4mm in thickness and weighing 159g. It comes in Gold colour option.

Powering the phone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled ticking at 2 GHz and coupled with Adreno 506 GPU for graphics. Internally, the phone packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The dual-SIM Vivo V5 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with the company’s Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. As for photography, it houses a 16-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. The device is based on a 3,055 mAh battery under the hood and offers the standard set of connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.

Meanwhile, Vivo has been in the news for sacking employees from its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida on Tuesday. The company later said in a statement that the move is in line with the company’s  business decision.
