After the three Android-powered smartphones- Nokia 3, 5, and Nokia 6, HMD Global is now widely expected to announce their flagship for the year. While leaks have been buzzing around the rumour Nokia 9 for quite some time, a few aspects of the smartphone have now been spotted on the benchmarking site AnTuTu.
The smartphone is listed on the site with model number TA-1004. According to the listing, Nokia 9 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC (system-on-chip). The device will sport a QHD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. It will pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The AnTuTu listing also mentions about the camera specifications. The listing cites that the smartphone will feature 13MP+13MP cameras. This could either suggest a dual-rear camera setup which likely fits with previous rumours or it also hint at a 13-megapixel sensor at front and 13-megapixel on the back. The device will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Notably, Nokia 9 was earlier spotted on the popular benchmarking site, Geekbench as well. The Geekbench listing revealed the smartphone with model name ‘Unknown Heart’ to pack a whopping 8GB RAM of RAM. Other specifications about the device reiterate with the new listing.
Moreover, a ‘Nokia brand photographer’ last month posted a 30-second video that revealed the phone from various angles along with its dual rear cameras. Frandroid, which claimed to have obtained live images of a prototype of Nokia 9, showed off dual rear cameras aligned vertically. The leaked images indicated that the smartphone will feature a 5.3-inch QHD (1440×2560 resolution) display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Android 7.1.1 Nougat and 4GB of RAM.
