HMD Global has been long been rumoured to launch a new flagship device with a tall screen panel. New press renders of the alleged Nokia 9 has just emerged online showing off the front and back side of the device. These renders give us a good look at the device and corroborate previous leaks that had surfaced on the Internet. In the renders, we get to see that the alleged Nokia 9 will sport a curved display along with a dual camera setup on the back. The renders were posted online by OnLeaks and CompareRaja both of whom have had a decent record when it comes to leaks.

In the leaks, we can see the smartphone sporting a glass design which may allow for the device to support wireless charging. The image also reveals the standard 3.5mm headphone jack to be missing on the supposed upcoming Nokia flagship smartphone.

The alleged smartphone could also sport a fingerprint scanner at the back panel. The power and the volume control buttons are visible on the right edge of the screen. On the bottom edge, there is a speaker grille and a Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

According to previously leaked specifications, the Nokia 9 is tipped to come in two RAM variants – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage. It is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and could be powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 835 chipset. They might also include IP68 dust and water resistance rating and likely be the first Android device from the company to sport an iris scanner.
