Recently there have been various reports stating that HMD Global is working on a 6GB RAM variant of the Nokia 8. This new variant was even spotted in documents of the US FCC recently. This new alleged model will be having 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. A new report from a German news website WinFuturehas stated that HMD Global has officially confirmed the new model.
The report states that HMD Global has confirmed that they are working on such a variant that will be made available in Europe next month on October 20. As per the report, this new 6GB variant of the Nokia 8 will be exclusively available in the Polished Blue colour option and will be priced at €669 (Roughly Rs. 51,870) which would make it €90 (Roughly Rs. 7,000) more expensive than the regular 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant.
Currently, we don’t have any further knowledge as to when will the company bring this variant to other markets including India where the normal 4GB RAM variant is currently also unavailable. However, we know that HMD Global is holding an event on September 26 where it might launch the highly awaited Nokia 8.
We recommend that you take this news with a pinch of salt as the company hasn’t officially issued a statement till now regarding this. This article is only based on the report put out by the German-based technology news site WinFuture. However, if we get to know any developments that happen we would keep you informed.
