HMD Global the parent company of Nokia is expected to unveil its first flagship smartphone, the Nokia 8, on July 31. Previously official press renders of the device were leaked, and now, the phone has shown up on the company’s official website. The Nokia 8 was spotted on Nokia’s Chinese website. In the screenshot of the page, the device can be seen from the front angle. Though we do have a screenshot of the webpage, when we tried accessing the URL the company had taken it down. However, the image on the page looked similar to the press renders that had leaked before. Previously a retailer also claimed that the Nokia 8 will be priced at €589 (Roughly Rs. 43,500) and it will be available from July 31.
As for the specifications, Currently, nothing is fixed in stone and all the specifications listed are either rumoured or reported. The phone will come with the model number TA-1004, it will feature a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440X2560. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and will come with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage which will be expandable via a microSD card. As for the camera, the phone is expected to feature a dual 13-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Currently, there is no new news from Nokia regarding the launch of this smartphone, so we would say you take this news with a pinch of salt. However, earlier there was a report regarding the leak of the processors for the upcoming Nokia smartphones.
